  • My expectations were not justified at all. Very high price for several close komnatok with exhibits. The Museum is located under the roof in the building of the shopping gallery, it is a special elevator That shows how it works without special education or knowledge of the Italian language is absolutely incomprehensible. Pointless spent the time and money spent. I love museums, not just art, but also interactive, scientific, but here entirely disappointed. Perhaps this is all great inventions, but rate it was unreal.

  • It's a very nice surprise that this beautiful exhibition where you can discover Leonardo Da Vinci. From its written there is a man and a beautiful work. The exhibition is interactive with all rooms of screens to understand what we see. Only disappointment is the shop that doesn't have lots of interest.

  • This small exhibit caught our eye when traversing the Galleria, so we stopped in for an hour. The exhibits are similar to some of the Leonard-machine shows visible elsewhere (New York, Venice), but th...  more »

  • As someone that likes science, history and technology, I really enjoyed my visit to this museum. I was amazed by the creativity and genius of Leonardo, creating incredible machines that weren't even in most of people imagination in that time! The museum is fully in Italian, although you have the interactive screen that you can set in English and French, and there's also an audio guide in many languages, for an extra fee. You'll have access to digital restorations of some of Leonardo's paintings, recreations and reconstructions of many of his inventions, many supposedly unknown until some time ago. Many of his codex were fully digitalized, so you'll be able to also take a look at them. The museum offers some interactive tools for kids (and not too kids), like Leonardo's inventions assembly game, and a few other things, some sort of building block, to recreate a few of his inventions. I went there early and there was few people, consider it since it is a small place and big crowds can make it a lot less enjoyable.
  • Tourist trap. Way too expensive - 12€, and essentially for kids. One big room with models, and a few tiny side rooms. Only Italian information except for a few semi functional computers. Extra 4€ for English audio guide. Extra 2€ for coat check..
  • Nice museum, maybe a little too expensive. Very useful explanation of the machine (something broken...) and beautiful interactive games.
  • Overrated from other reviews. After having learned much of Leonardo's youth, Leonardo gaining knowledge from the masters of his time and his improving on others's designs and artistry, this museum appears not to provide the historical, political, and inspirational setting that provided Leonardo with the motivation driving him to the advanced designs of his day. This museum, although impressive in providing replicas of some of Leonardo's works, it only displays the end results of his major works and none of his original pieces or documents. Additionally, for someone such an historic icon to Italy, this museum ought to have an entire city block dedicated to his designs and arts. Instead, this is a small and cramped museum, in which visitors are constantly bumping into one another. Please note that if you rent the accompanying audio device for €4, you have to surrender your driver's license or another photo id, which is not well protected.
  • It's incredible way to understand one of the most important mind of the world. Although, those pieces are replica, you can definitely have a clue of this clever man.
