  • A skyscraper not necessarily very good, not necessarily great. Not worth a visit, unless it expected central station.

  • I have been to visit last wend with Fai. Very passionate and attentive to details of the stories. The skyscraper for me is magical and the view is spectacular. We were also visited the Hall where they meet the regional advisers, very interesting. I recommend it, it's worth it!

  • My first access to the "Pirellone" was yesterday on the occasion of the "days FAI di primavera". The Pirelli Tower is definitely a symbol of Milan, looking for his redemption and his pride after the dark years of World War II. Milan rises and doesn't bend, looking forward. Despite being dated and somewhat bulky, compared to other newer buildings (i.e. skyscrapers of "forest landscape, Unicredit, the diamond", etc) always brings a signature prestigious, Gio Ponti that, speaking of architecture, in 1957 he wrote: "... It's cube, parallelepiped. is the pyramid, is the obelisk, is torre: closed shapes and they're ... ". For this I think it is still relevant and mine is an "adult conversion", because I hated the skyscrapers. Today I see with different eyes, shapes and scraps of history. Yesterday we had some formidable ciceroni DO they made love every corner visited. It was interesting to sit in the Council room, understand the layout of the various political groups, working methods and remember with our guide the terrible accident of April 18, 2002 (a few months after the Twin Towers attack), when a Swiss piper crashed into the floor frame 26, causing 3 deaths and many injured: pieces of shattered lives and wounds , written in indelible character at the heart of our city. Although the skyline today are fashionable, offering views are priceless. And the Pirelli Tower is no exception.
