  • One of the most beautiful small city parks, with majestic views over the rear side of the villa Reale, Temple, pond and ruins ... you enter accompanied ... (but even without)

  • These beautiful gardens designed by Leopold Pollack in the late eighteenth century, become intensely romantic atmosphere in the fall which makes them even more special and fascinating. Don't miss it, maybe after visiting the nearby Gallery of modern art. For other descriptive notes see my previous review.

  • The gardens of Villa Reale in Milan are the only example, authentic, English garden dating from the late 18th century. Are well kept and well supervised by staff. I happened to run for this wonderful green area, one of the attractions of Milan I love most. The agents of the park they stopped me and told me that I could not run because the Park is reserved for regulation to only children and adults accompanying children (sic!). If the regulation requires really these limits, I see the total senselessness of these prohibitions. It seems that a person wishing to run along the paths of these gardens or-alone or with friends-want to stop and enjoy some quiet time without disturbing your neighbor can't. Absurd! Citizens have the right to visit and to enjoy the beauty of this historic park in a civilized manner and ordered without restrictions absurd as these! Reserve it for young children and carers of children is nonsense for the cultural, historical and landscaped gardens of Villa Reale. For these reasons I believe that the regulation is senseless. I'm not against the children and parents of children, let alone. No sense however put such restrictions for a park of this magnitude. If so felt the need to reserve a park for children and parents or adults accompanying them, you choose another green space, perhaps by cropping a part of Porta Venezia gardens or gardens Perego in via dei Giardini. If you do not want to-quite rightly-thugs or rude, guards them to drive them away but do not allow to remove a citizen guilty of running trails or not to have a baby in tow. Here you prevent the exercise of a right-that of using a cultural object p u b b l i c o. Regulation of the Park-if indeed this is blatantly discriminatory, even expected-unconstitutional because the Park in question is a public good whose regulation may not create in any way discriminate based on personal or social conditions of nationals (prohibition to singles or citizens who do not have children to get into a public park that is a national heritage and landscape). Blatantly violates article 3 and article 9 of the Constitution.
