  • This veritable Palace-the splendid Villa Belgiojoso later became Royal Villa-once home of Barbiano di Belgiojoso, of Napoleon Bonaparte, by Eugenio Beauharnais and of Marshal Radetzky-now houses the Civic Gallery of modern art and his works. Periodically I get around for basking of his masterpieces, with one eye (and heart) especially for the large painting "the two mothers" painted by Giovanni Segantini in 1889, highly demanded also by galleries abroad. To visit the beautiful eighteenth-century gardens designed by Pollack. Finally a proper greeting to five innocent victims of the bombing of the massacres occurred in the evening of July 27, 1993, Via Palestro as remembered by the plaque on the site of the massacre outside the Palace.

  • 6 rooms where we collect certain works that normally are not exposed. Interesting permanent collections some of which including the collection Vismara is open only through volunteers of the Touring Club. There are proponents of pointillism (Segantini, Pascoe) lombardi and Milan in the late 1800s. In any case, already the building is beautiful and the Park is well maintained na accessible only with children (!)

  • This gallery has very interesting private collections of modern art
  • Really good gallery and amazing park on the back.
  • The museum complex is divided into Gam Galleria d'Arte moderna e Pac Pavilion of contemporary art. I recently visited the exhibition on the Cuban contemporary art tatooing Soria at Pac. Without going into the merits of the specific exhibition can recommend a visit to the Pac in General regardless of the event, because it is a visit easy, given the exhibition spaces not massive but that could reveal many surprises.

  • Nice Museum with many paintings of the second half of the 19th century. Stand out on all paintings by Francesco Hayez, and the sculptures of Medardo Rosso. PrEN also works by Van Gogh, Cezanne, Picasso, Modigliani and Canova.
