  • What you see from corso Venezia, intrigues and suggests a very nice building. You see a curious façade, characterized by numerous Windows terracotta profiles of different shapes are placed irregularly. Seems to have been left exposed by Ferdinando Reggiori who directed, in 1961, the restoration of what was believed to be only a Renaissance palace and who was hiding a House of the 14th century. Constitute a significant example of stratification (feature) milanese! In front, along with the Windows, above a majestic Portal adorned with medallions, cornices, columns, capitals, you see a beautiful wrought iron balcony. And the higher the shadows of frescos. I dared not pass the entrance of this House that the totem of the Comune di Milano looks like Fontana Silvestri. I threw an eye inside and saw only a portion of the yard (I've read that it's trapezoidal, portico on three sides, the bottom, and with an arcade in the upper floor): and what I saw I thought was beautiful and I was further intrigued. I hope, sooner or later, to visit this Palace they say is one of the best preserved examples, in Milan, a Renaissance mansion.

  • Little as it may seem, what remains of this building by Clare bramantesque is undoubtedly one of the most interesting things not only on Corso Venezia, but in a broader context, not many examples of Lombard Renaissance in Milan. Particularly valuable, despite the signs of aging, the beautiful portal and the overhanging balcony window, in addition to collected arcaded courtyard.

  • This lovely house (also fontana silvestri) is located in corso di porta Venezia to civci 10/14. Actually it is not clear who did this work (Bramante Donato maybe) is no opera of Lombard Renaissance, not open to the public.

  • Corso Venezia is one of the best preserved Renaissance palaces in Milan. The Palace, which is also called "the Guardian" as in 1476, keeper of the nearby Fountain Angel lived in Eastern Gate (demolished in the 19th century). At one time the façade was covered with frescoes (by Bramante or, according to other sources, of Bramantino) now practically disappeared. Very nice arched entrance with two half-columns to candelabra decorated with leaves. Very fine road window frames are also modeled in clay and decorated with plant motifs.
