  • A view is certainly interesting: this is the first time in Italy is presented the entire range of 83 photographs of reportage made through the United States in the mid-' 50 from Swiss Robert Frank, photographs that were published in 1958 in Paris under The title The Americans. An important work – I've read and heard – in the history of photography because Robert Frank with his technical choices and with his choices of subjects and situations to photograph changed the way you think about the report (and angered Americans who, more or less consciously, did not want to recognize themselves in the portrait that a foreigner he proposed!). Today, for a person like me, overall ignorant regarding both the photographic technique both in terms of the history of photography, the exhibition has value as a historical document, but does not evoke particular feelings or thoughts. At a distance of sixty years from when they were shot and printed, these pictures seem, all in all, pretty normal. The photographs – vintage, all in black and white, in its original format – are presented in the order established by Frank, is divided in different rooms, where space: there was no degree of freedom-so-in fitting out; the creativity of someone who has curated the exhibition was limited to the Organization of the room dedicated to the book: there is the reproduction of the layout, there are excerpts from the introduction by Jack Kerouac, there are some of the editions published since 1958. The introduction to the exhibition is included in the cost of the ticket (every Wednesday at 18.30) prepared by a young and friendly (although a bit awkward!).

  • We've just been to see the exhibition The americans at the spazio forma and we as always walked out thrilled. The proposal's level is always very high and although the space is rather small (especially in comparison with the demand of Office) moves us well and ... on Thursday evenings open until 23.00! Thank goodness that there are places like that in my city!

  • Temporary exhibitions by leading photographers. A short walk to metro Corbusio. Space is not big, but with a good exhibition. During exhibitions of photographers with important reminder of visitors booking is advisable.

  • The photo exhibitions are very well organised
  • An environment in Milan well exploited. The exhibitions are well laid out ... it's always a pleasure to come back to see the exhibits. Premises clean restrooms. Maybe a little illumination.

  • I went to see the exhibition of Mayer, poor organization to enter two-hour queue, rude staff and to make a ticket I waited 10 minutes. the view beautiful but badly organized. After waiting so long you can't enjoy photography
