One of Milan's museum houses, FAI Villa Necchi Campiglio offers a glimpse into villa architecture in interwar Italy. Designed by Italian architect Piero Portaluppi, this was created as a single-family home with opulent grounds, rather than a palace or mansion. Over the years, it was home to Milanese elite and European royalty. As you wander from one richly decorated room to another, admire paintings and other artwork from the 18th through the 20th centuries. Work out when and for how long to visit FAI Villa Necchi Campiglio and other Milan attractions using our handy Milan vacation planner.

  • Attractive villa, well cared for, with flower gardens and beautiful event space ... too bad the prices of location out of reach, but they are all well deserved!

  • Wonderful visit to the Villa Necchi, masterpiece of the ' 30s of Portalupi. On found the cross between rationalism and the art Deco House in a beautiful garden near Porta Venezia. Some room are transcendent; the entrance hall, the Veranda, the bathrooms; the House is beautifully restored. The only downside, the redecoration (mainly furniture) added in the 1950s fit well with the essence of the proposal of the architect. Nice testimony of bourgeois life of 30 years within the capital of Alpine Chic. A must for any lover of the 20 th century architecture

  • The film also comes against the backdrop of <I am="" love="">the chateau is 1 hour and buy tour tickets; the dense for all over the House, you can hear the description. (English speaking guide during the day time. it's a good idea go out) to short duration from Milan visited here several times a day, giving him the afterglow is great. • For architecture and design lovers, this is a must. A wonderful house frozen in time with stunning gardens, a good so and an ok coffee place.
  • Wonderful place, but the tour guides need to take themselves less seriously. We were an international group with two tour guides. Most people spoke English and not Italian, but the Italian tour guide kept on getting super upset because the other tour guide was explaining stuff in English. I'm sorry but you should realize that your clients are here to learn and if they can't understand then it defeats the purpose of the tour (which they paid for, mind you). You should be more adaptive to your customer's needs as their visit is what is keeping your foundation alive. As for the place itself, the villa was built for an aristocratic family. Fashion lovers will adore the extravagant closets and bedrooms of a highly fashionable elite.
  • If you like architecture this iconic structure from the 1920s is definitely worth a look! Skilled guides and good maintenance makes this into an attraction worth checking out
  • A stunning villa filled with a lavish interior and antiques. Truly stunning in places and well worth an hour of your time when exploring Milan.
  • Villa affascinante. Ospita spesso eventi interessanti
