  • Got the rooftop access with the duomo tour. Thoroughly recommend to get the lift-access. Saves time! Beautiful views from the rooftop on a hot day. Be careful of the slopes though!

  • It's really an incredible cathedral. Beautiful architecture inside and out, you'll be blown away as soon as you lay your eyes on the Duomo. What really impressed me however, were the stained glass windows inside the cathedral - looked so real I felt as if someone printed onto the glass! There's a ticket office to the right of the building as well as one across the street behind it. Lines for tickets and to get in are relatively quick. Make sure to dress modestly, as my girlfriend had to buy a 2 euro kimono to cover up her legs. You have the option of going to the rooftop terraces which give you pretty good views of the city. They were cleaning the building so there was quite a bit of scaffolding but still really nice. Your pass inside and up to the terrace will cost you 11 euros if you want to take the stairs or 15 if you take the elevator. The line for the elevator can take awhile so make sure you allot enough time in your schedule to fully see the cathedral. I would say 2 to 2.5 hours.
  • The Basilica of the Nativity of Saint Mary is Milan's Cathedral. It took six centuries (since 1386 AD) to complete and in Italy is second to St Peter's of Rome in size. Since it was built over several hundred years there is a number of contrasting styles and the quality of the workmanship varies remarkably. Emblem of the city of Milan, is a top attraction and an absolute must to visit. Highly recommended._
  • Strictly "Do not leave Milan without visiting this". Amazing beautiful & iconic architecture. This is masterpiece of world. You can beautiful view of entire city from the roof. Various ticket options available select as per your need. No entries for ladies waring anything short or skirt above knee else you have purchase separate clothe. You can buy this at ticket counter with 2 euro only.
  • This Milan landmark is amazing. The architecture is from out of this world. Queue were generally somewhat fast. If you are a girl, wearing a sleeveless top, bring a shall with you as you will be asked to cover your shoulders.
  • You can't leave Milan without visiting the cathedral. This is by far the no 1 tourist attraction. Take the lift to the roof top as you'll see views of the city! Awesome experience!
