  • A plunge in the history and pride of Italian and milanese. The products of fratellibranca are inimitable. The wheel of spices, with its 27 perfumes, is just the beginning of secrets and traditions that go on for 120 years. The Knower, and Idan, leadership of Dr. Marco Ponzano. An experience!!!

  • There are many aspects that differentiate this museum by enterprise from other museums (and not) and I will mention just a few: the sobriety with which it was prepared and with which it is presented (I would say in a very milanese, who appreciate); the variety of exhibits that tell the story of a family that built a global firm and the company (born in 1845 and able to renew, remaining faithful to tradition) and exhibit the characteristics of the products, the production phases, ad campaigns; the skill and affability of Cicero (Marcus Parker, who was Director of advertising Branch and is now the curator of the collection Branch) that welcomes and accompanies them during the visit. I spent an afternoon (the visit lasted an hour and a half) definitely enjoyable, in a place that has more the appearance of a House to a (cold) work, I learned an awful lot about products that I only know by name (because ... only drink mineral water!), I saw directly furnishing disused presented with great care (and there was a wisp of dust!). This museum, housed inside the plant built between 1908 and 1913 and still in operation, is definitely advisable to curious people; everyone can find something to linger. The things that impressed me the most: the smokestack painted, a fine example of street art shared that colors the gray of the plant (and the sky that yesterday was especially gray!); the Gallery of portraits, busts and photographs of the Branch; the basket with herbs, spices and roots that make up the ingredients of various products; the furniture of offices; calendars, advertising of the most renowned poster designers and graphic artists of the twentieth century, the large ornate mirrors and of course (being a building which I particularly like), the section devoted to Torre Branca, the artwork designed by Gio Ponti in 1933 that still stands on the edge of Milan's Sempione Park and is accessible through the intervention of the branch. But there is much, much more!

  • I have always considered the Fernet Branca a bitter mid-level low to be taken after a great feast. Nothing more wrong! During his visit to this beautiful Museum I discovered that instead we're talking about a level of excellence. Among other highly acclaimed overseas by our relatives emigrated to Argentina. The Museum is very interesting and our host: marketing Director recently retired, personable and very competent. The part that struck me most is the container where they are grouped all 27 (as I recall) herbs from which are extracted the essences that make up our Fernet. Even today, the recipe is the exclusive preserve of the family Branch. Very interesting explanation of therapeutic properties of each component. Beautiful reproductions of vintage workstation, advertising posters and wall of countless imitations. Fulfilling the break at the bar counter, where the barmen are formed, for tasting a variety of products. Besides the Fernet Branca, Punt e Mes: Cheese, Grappa Candolini, etc, etc. The highlight is a visit to the cellars that begins the giant tub of Cheese followed by the countless oak barrels where it is left to mature infusions. After this visit I have reassessed the great our Fernet. PS a finger of Fernet added to a glass of coke is great.

  • A really unique in its kind, a great way to learn about the history of the family and Branch of its flagship product, the Fernet. A free and comprehensive tour of the factory that opens a new world, being able to look at all the various stages of production and taste the finished product, highly recommended to all! An evergreen Italian excellence
