The result is still pleasant and harmonious; particularly impressive is the blue ceiling with gold, which reproduces the vault of heaven. Two curiosities: this church was baptized Federigo Borromeo (that of the betrothed!), granddaughter of Saint Charles. Thanks to its excellent acoustics, this church was chosen for the recordings of Callas in the 1950s.show original

Finally, last week, I was able to visit it with much pleasure. The first impression I had was amazed reverence for the sacred vibe that distinguishes all places of worship. Already, before entering, one is attracted by the mosaics of the three lunettes of the façade, and, after having admired, crossed the threshold, I was surprised by the colors of the Interior, which seem to expand the space in comparison to the outside. It is, without doubt, been restored recently, and the result could not be better. Definitely worth a visit, is a place, as each Church, where there is a sense of peace and quiet, something to be savored with taste and respect these days.show original
