  • Beautiful church of which unfortunately little has remained of its origins. Though it's enjoyable and the frescoes that adorn the neo-Gothic style and make it an interesting stage. Close to the Centre.

  • It happens often enough to go past the Church of Sant'Eufemia: I look at it, I shake my head for the disappointment, in front of the façade in Romanesque style faux, but then later ... because I want it bad! Every time I visit I try something nice, fake-toned striped Gothic inside, decorated with Byzantine-style mosaics faux tetro (said to be the darkest Church of the city of Milan and, despite not knowing all the churches of the city, I'm inclined to believe it!), unfriendly (certainly for tourists, I hope it's better to the faithful). It's a "fake" Church architecturally and artistically, completely rebuilt in 1870 by architect Enrico Terzaghi, who invented a Romanesque and Gothic her when he was commissioned to expand the Church, and further altered later, remaining in the heels. Nothing remains of the original structure of the Church founded in the fifth century. from san Senatore; remained well short of the decorations originally (a fresco attributed to Marco d'oggiono) that was enriched by pale coming from other places of worship (a Pentecost by Simone Peterzano a time s Paolo converso). And to think that she was a famous church, immortalized in 1744 and 1745 both by the great landscape artist Bernardo Bellotto, as can be seen in one of the paintings exhibited exceptionally in this period Italy galleries of Milan, both from the greatest engraver of the time, Marc'Antonio Dal Re; Maybe the artists were more interested in the beautiful church of san Paolo converso, home of the Congregation of the Angels, which still stands next door, but they painted and drew even Sant'Eufemia: and when I watch/I think back to that beautiful Renaissance facade I – as they say in Milan – a large "MAGO" or I could cry!

  • Beautiful church of Romanesque style. Wonderful Bell Tower from which you can enjoy a unique view of alta Brianza. Too bad it is not freely accessible

  • Little historical context to safeguard and protect.
