  • Babe, beautiful, and exciting collection; This small church is ancient Nettle district of Milan, unknown to most, even my husband we drove past often and had never visited; It's really small, but collects inside beautiful frescos like the Madonna delle Grazie and the beautiful chapel of Saint Joseph; Beautiful it is also the statue of the Madonna behind the altar, we get excited much looking at it; If you find yourselves in those parts come visit!

  • Nettle, in one of the most popular of the old Milan found this church. Built in 1190, very small and very simple structure and inside. Interesting the painting of the Virgin and child, the Church is still working and then open.

  • This little church in the eastern outskirts of the city, Nettle, imposes certain attention to the size nor the wealth of architecture. However behind its simple shapes and clean hiding various artworks and the ups and downs of a millennium of history. In fact the Church of sant'alessandro and shrine of our Lady of grace, has origins dating back back a long way, and at an age no later than the 11th-12th centuries, bearing in mind that the building already existed when in 1162 Frederick Redbeard destroyed Milan and that the fresco of the Madonna delle Grazie is dated 12 April 1182, as is clear from graffiti discovered in 1979 under it. And already this beautiful fresco showing Byzantine-style tracts of Virgin and child justifies the visit but immediately opposite to hit is the refined 17th century chapel of Saint Joseph, and on the wall just ahead the intense sixteenth-century fresco of the Ecce Homo, and the vaulted ceiling is completely covered with elaborate frescoes of the XVIII century, as well as other cool paintings adorn the walls. The Church, after a thorough restoration, is kept very well both inside and outside, as can be seen from the churchyard also clean and the lovely flower beds of Begonias bloomed tricolor. Definitely worth visiting and conveniently accessible with 54 bus which stops right there. (* visited on May 7, 2017 *)
