  • Beautiful Cistercian Abbey is rich in history. Still home to Cistercian houses, among medieval realities so far handed down, an air of mystery ... leagato to the story of Wilhelmine Boema (first proclaimed a Saint and strangely later Heretic and burned her remains). Strange that, in the place where it was sepppellita, now there are the mortal remains of Raffaele Mattioli, President of Banca Commerciale Italiana (on his request).

  • It seems incredible that this beautiful Abbey is located a few kilometres from the Centre, chaotic, citizen of Milan. A beautiful Township and cured in every detail, friendly and amazing, surrounded by greenery and visible from a distance. Beautiful also the gateway to the courtyard of the Abbey with the adjacent convent, but even nicer is the Bell Tower, octagonal shape with statues and porches. The Interior is frescoed almost completely, but are visible signs of repeated restorations. It also attracts the beauty of Walnut choir perfectly clean and shiny. In a few minutes, I could hear the prayers and Gregorian chants to nice effect.

  • Beautiful Abbey just outside door, great for a bike ride from anywhere in Milan and take the path (in own seat at times) from Porta Romana
