Central Hostel Milano, Milan

(2,200+ reviews on the web)
Architectural Building
Considered one of the city’s masterpieces of modern architecture, Central Hostel Milano is served by high-speed and conventional train lines, with connections to most major European cities. Designed by architect Ulisse Stacchini, the station opened in 1931, replacing the old 19th-century transit station that could no longer handle the traffic caused by the opening of the Simplon tunnel in 1906. Today, over 300,000 passengers pass through the station every day, using about 500 daily trains. The station is connected to the city’s main airport through a convenient express train service. You can get any necessary supplies for your trip at the supermarket and a few smaller shops located on the western side of the station’s basement. Pickpockets loitering around the main station building are known to target tourists at night, so pay attention to your bags. For travelers who use our international travel planner, Milan holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Central Hostel Milano and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • I go to Milano last 15 years regularly .. many historical places.. great place to shop for clothes .. fabulous Restaurants and Cafes..!  more »
  • focal point of passage. true crossroads Milan. and internationally. It is now a shopping mall. the toilets are to be found as a treasure hunt ... the signs are a bit too sparse, and then it's confusing easily during their search. Perfectly connected by various metro station. the square in front of the station was well retrained. Two racks of bikes, bikemi service.

  • Station very easy to navigate, access to any point of the city from here. It has everything imaginable available. In addition it is architecturally beautiful. Excellent place to form beautiful memories.

  • This was the most expensive and worst hostel I have ever been to. The staff is only available during certain hours, and they are located in another building, making it very inconvenient to access for help. The facility was VERY POOR. It didn't feel like a hostel at all, more like a run down home. I lived in an all female room, but the door has no lock, which means any one can access our room at anytime. The balcony is shared with another room, which meant people from other rooms can look into our room anytime, and I did not feel comfortable or safe in that kind of environment. The washroom was quite dirty and poorly maintained. The kitchen had very basic facilities, but again everything seemed disorganised and dirty. Overall not a pleasant experience, would not recommend.
  • The kitchen is a little bit darty. They don't have 24 hour's reception
  • Near the central station and metro. Clean. Friendly staff
  • Nice hostel but in the bit no indervidual bathrooms
  • Very good place for an average price
