The building was constructed in 1903-04 and designed by Luca Beltrami (who put his experience as Director of the 1896 Courier) and Luigi Repossi. Expanded and raised by Suresh Raina in 1960-65, the whole complex was finally renovated in 2001-06 by Studio Gregotti to respond to the new demands of rationalization of space. I had the opportunity to attend the offices of the newspaper several times between the beginning and end of the years ' 60-when it was still "the Courier"-meeting with real excitement in the very long Hall "sacred cows" of journalism and literature such as Eugenio Montale, Dino Buzzati and Indro Montanelli and Aaron Hall. Then throw in the Brera district and maybe a "jump" to the Jamaica Bar. A Milan which unfortunately no longer exists.show original
