  • Made for free visit of the basilica proper (see reviews), I highly recommend you continue it, for a fee, the Portinari Chapel (1462)-which houses the magnificent Ark of Saint Peter Martyr by Giovanni di Balduccio (1339) and the splendid frescoes by Vincenzo Foppa (1466)-preceded by small but rich Museum-with antiques, jewellery, paintings and sacred objects--and from the Roman and early Christian Cemetery area below , containing various types of tombs, pottery and with curious lapidary inscriptions. The basilica of Sant'Eustorgio with its Museum is among the most important and significant monuments of Milan, which is not to be missed, to which the Council to also add the near Diocesan Museum, can be visited using the convenient combination ticket.

  • We accidentally stumbled into the Museum of the Basilica of Sant'Eustorgio, one of the city's most important temples Ambrosian and were amazed at the splendid Cappella Portinari, we were amazed at the wealth of liturgical furnishings and excited for the descent into what remains of the ancient early Christian Cemetery. For the price of 6 euros you can admire, within part of the Dominican convent, a truly unique place, miraculously escaped the destruction of centuries and containing an absolute masterpiece of Italian Gothic art: the Ark of Saint Peter Martyr.

  • It was a nice surprise to visit both the Church such as the Museum of s. Eustorgio. A collection of beautiful pieces, ruins and the Portinari Chapel.

  • Very nice church with relicts of the Magi. And it is definitely worth paying a small admission for a the Portinari chapel with a tomb of Saint Peter Martyr. You'll also get to the catacombs!
  • We passed this beautiful quiet church a few times prior to visiting and was always intrigued by it. The outside is actually more beautiful than the inside. About 3 euros for entry i think and that will get you in the church and museum. Certainly a must visit.
  • A fascinating ancient church. Full of misteries
  • Remarkable.
