  • I spent, along with my wife, an eventful and thoroughly enjoyable in this beautiful facility that I have chosen as a base for visiting the Sassi di Matera places a short (no more than 20 minutes by car). I wanted a peaceful accommodation which was convenient for the dislocation but not inserted in the tourist bustle. I can now say I have chosen well. It has been a terrific experience, first for the architectural beauty of the structure, even receives a total cleaning and careful attention to every detail. Our room was large and comfortable with a window overlooking the beautiful ancient church at the center of the country. Here's another positive of our city: the country where the property is located, Miglionico, with the imposing Castle of Malconsiglio who dominates, monument admirably held that we visited on a bright night, in an environment of great beauty. It is a charming village, in its simplicity, almost archaic, where it seems to go back in time and rediscover the taste of human contact (it seems that every one knows each other) away from troubles of frenetic city life. But the value of the property is represented by the owner, Antonio, a person of great elegance and kindness which he hosted as if it were an old friend, making him available for our every need from the moment of first contact. He even indicated the restaurant to go for dinner, were taking us personally and introducing ourselves to the guys who run it. Reflected in the pride of belonging to its community and Antonio's love for his land that manages to convey to the visitor who ends up feeling almost part of that same community. Thanks Antonio, will definitely come back for a longer stay, to deepen their knowledge of the area and better recuperation from the toils of everyday life.

  • The Castle has a beautiful courtyard where you can make beautiful picture; what impressed me the most was the multimedia Museum for originality: it is very suggestive historical reconstruction "Malconsiglio" espisodio multimedia. I would suggest to insert a permanent iat point inside, with possibility to take guided tours at least on weekends because the location has great potential from the point of view of tourism!
