  • Probably the most visually impressive of the ruins in the area. Very casual attitude to access which is quite refreshing. Almost as if "we got this bunch of rocks out the back if you want to have a look". If you are into Greek History check it out.
  • A pice of ancient history in the middle of nowhere. Always worth to visit!
  • I was so lucky to assist at a theater performance where the temple was the scene under many stars in a clear sky. Also deities appreciated.
  • Worth a stop to look at the ruins and take some pics. Free parking and entry.
  • The Temple of Hera (Tavole Palatine) is a fascinating tourist attraction, but unfortunately often ignored even by those who, like me, live relatively close. The monument is easily identifiable and freely accessible, the site is well maintained (although there are no facilities) and there are also clear explanatory panels. Admire this temple is truly stepping back in time.
