  • Founded by Greek colonists in the 7th century. BC, on his return from the siege of Troy, housed in 6to sec. BCE the philosopher and mathematician Pythagoras who founded the philosophical school, city and became an important center of the Magna Greece. The Museum contains remnants of Tavole Palatine and materials of the necropolis and an ancient city in document prehistory to Roman Empire, from the sanctuary of Apollo Licio and other indigenous, Greek and Roman temples.

  • Museum to visit when you have the time available. There are lots of exhibits, some more interesting than others. If you have a guide that explains the whole thing would be the maximum, us with two kids I did some running but deserves.

  • Frankly I expected a greater variety of exhibits. Modest entrance ticket price (€ 2.50). It is recommended to visit it, even only by someone who is passing along the SS 106.
