  • I visited the castello della pieve in small village near Orangeburg. He seems to have stopped time. Lovely and charming with all the houses made of stone, very comfortable.

  • Walk about 7 km there and back, from the main square of Mercatello until Castello della Pieve. Coming from the Centre you pass the cemetery, you will cross a nice Park, and then we move the heliport; from here it becomes dirt road to your destination. Call in advance if you want to find the resort opened, and remember a bottle of water. Sartorato M.

  • A little piece of paradise on Earth, a beautiful medieval citadel, very quiet and cozy, where you can eat great food too. Truly, a place pleasant for all senses. You can stay there to relax and hike on the mountains around, or use it as the base for visiting the attractions around it. Bernardo is the perfect host, very friendly and helpful. If you're planning on visiting the Marche, I wholeheartedly recommend you to spend the night at this little citadel.
  • A nice place with great views, good food available for dinner and breakfast. Rooms tend to be funished in a bit of a wacky style.
  • You can't ask for anything better, great value!
