  • The Cathedral of Merano dedicated to San Niccolò is a beautiful gothic church in the Centre of the town. Notable an altar located in the left aisle and outside there is a statue of the Saint on the left side of the Church.

  • My way through the medieval Laubengasse resulted in the parish church of St. Nicholas, it is very high and thus far visible, thus you can orient yourself well in the area of the old town.

  • One of the earliest Gothic buildings. A main building with three naves. In 1220 he was first mentioned in a document, from the 14th century onwards was enlarged and in 1465 assumed its present appearance. There are a considerable amount of valuable frescos, a beautiful rose window above the arch in punta del portal, the railing of the triptych worthy of attention, late Gothic glass Windows, the choir also Gothic. The belfry of 84 meters. It is one of the highest in South Tyrol! Dedicated to St Nicholas. The Church is located at the end of the arcades.
