  • Always a Work in Progress, the castle itself looks like a Frankenstein monster half modern with electrical cables all over it, the other looks nice. Full of ugly and totally out of place trash cans.
  • Partly restored the castle still has its Renaissance charm ... Recalling the city its strategic role from the past

  • A treasure trove of history and art still to be discovered hidden under plaster in his frescoes

  • The open the chateau is lovely and interesting guided tours and well conducted, which are essential to understand the history of the manor (later included in the ticket price). Even the days dedicated to families with children are cared for and very entertaining. Shame about the winter closure because the castle is not heated. As you move around in groups please consult the website of Proloco and notify your arrival to arrange the visit.
