  • Wonderful place to spend a few hours in a unique place. Too bad for maintaining just enough by the competent authorities. Be careful where you Park, firefighters are lurking! There is a very large parking in the upper part of the Park. Still worth it, sit on a blanket and admire the waterfalls, even with family is priceless.

  • The Treja, tributary of the Tiber, flows in one of the most charming districts of Lazio and of the whole of Central Italy. The small river has carved a Valley lush with vegetation, winding and much of which is a nature reserve. Its route runs from the vicinity of Lake Bracciano up to Civita Castellana. One of the wildest and most picturesque spots designed by river is the rock on which it stands Calcata. But the Monte Gelato waterfalls are undoubtedly the most delicious destination to reach, where the river collects creeks and streams that exceed Rocky crags and intriguing patches of green. A place full of joy to be discovered, ideal starting point for excursions along the trails of the Park. The ideal place for a picnic or a simple tour, considering also the possibility to reach pregnant centers of culture and history.
