  • A tiny Theater in the historic centre of Mazara, entirely decorated. Short but pleasant visit

  • To explore getting lost in the maze of alleys, the tiles that decorate some of the buildings are a wonder, around every corner a church ... very nice

  • A veritable Casbah, a maze of streets drawn as he commands the ancient Arab urban main street, waving, the neighborhood streets, Dharb Mah, then from which branches off a network of courtyards, the Azzuqaqh. Built after the landing of the 827 by Arabs who conquered Sicily, the town remained in its original form, slowly fill what veins after, the splendid medieval churches of which admirable example is the San Nicolò directed, the harbour channel, but also what remains of the Norman Cathedral with apses. and then the explosion of Baroque, nice, warm colours, the triumphant showmanship. Today, the old town, relived by many Tunisians who live on the other side of the channel, is colored with thousands of artistic majolica inserts with beautiful interpretations of place names, with paintings that tell the story and the legend of a city, one of the few in the world, in which while watching Christian the Muezzin call to prayer a newsstand feel.
