  • Of course the beauty of Gargano needs no introduction, but this place where there is a nice beach with a nice Visual to be enhanced, at least in the way that you do not really precise indications and especially x access: last stretch impassable, to risk breaking car. Obviously you don't ask asphalt deturperebbe the territory but at least small stones x level the channel. We also ate at the restaurant you can enjoy typical Apulian cuisine: good quality and prices quite appropriate to the context. With some improvements would be the top ...

  • Fantastic beach. At Mattinatella you log on and follow signs for camping Fontana delle Rose. We chose Cala Rosa that I think is the absolute best and cutest lido beach. The beach is large enough but not too much, surrounded by high cliffs. The lido has umbrellas rather far apart and not too many. The owners are helpful and kind with all customers. But above all, the restaurant is really good, as well as very nice aesthetically. It was the only place where we could be pleasantly until afternoon around 17 when the beach was beginning to be in shadow. Absolutely recommended!

  • You enter the camping Fontana delle rose to access the lido azzurro. Actually I've got from dolphin, so I did not partake of the parking lot. I avoided the lido Dolphin for the collapse, while the lido azzurro is the safety net, and the choice was spot on. Place looked after, very simple, quiet, 10 euro two sun loungers and a parasol in the middle of August; the bar, little one, offers a simple, unpretentious but functional. The old prorietaria, which left everything to the children and daughters-in-law, check with experienced eye and gives some help behind the counter. It's her conquest. Solar candid smile, face, invites us to dine in the restaurant above the Crag, where we enjoyed fresh fish and well cooked. Non-competitive price, but there is considered peak season and freshly caught fish. Too bad the rough seas that day that did not allow peaceful bathrooms for strong currents. The drawback to all this part of Gargano is the sun goes away at 4:00 pm ... and it's hard to swallow for those accustomed to the Tyrrhenian Sea, see the sun set in the water. Suitable for children only with rubber shoes.
