  • The whole structure of the "SASSI" it is impossible to see it, because on one hand there is the Barisano, then there's the Civita with the Cathedral, and on the other side of the ravines Only turn Caveoso. you have a complete view and recommend you go there by car, maybe the last day of stay, to impress the total vision of Matera ... and share as well. The stones in this miniature sculpture overview is located in one of the souvenir shops in the part of the Caveoso. Very nice!

  • Very impressive place with a reproduction of the Sassi of Matera extremely close to the original. The pieces of handicrafts are valuable and get precise and expert hands very well. A visit is a must.

  • If you're in matera and walks in the sasso barisano, in via dei fiorentini, stop at number 82: so you can admire the works of the owner, Mr Rizzi, do some purchases, such as a Hiya materano, but especially admire the artwork created by the father; with three blocks of Tuff, in only 3 years, has managed to play in an exemplary manner what is the matera sassi, and that he lived in the first person. A visit to take into account, like the one at churches or other attractions
