  • A walk through the Centre of Matera, we stayed on the square in front of the Church. The façade is very beautiful, lit up at night has considerable charm. The Interior is very simple. Still to be seen.

  • An interesting baroque architecture. You should see the details. The interior has one nave, with chapels on the sides.

  • If you switch from Castellaneta for a visit, it is imperative to stop in this convent. The cloister of the monastery and its frescoes are sure to leave you speechless. The Interior of the Church of Saint Francis of Assisi unfortunately is under renovation, but it is accessible and is the oldest church of the city's history.
