  • Scenarios back in time to the magic of the place and of rock scattered in this fantastic Park asked.

  • I saw the Park on the other side of the canyon and wondered "why all those people?" Then, thanks to Vincenzo (see review on la dolce vita), also drove us and not in a group but with a guide just for us who drove us to see the beauty of the place and explained the history. Really interesting to see how they lived and see the churches rupesti: the story and the presence of a guide just for us made the landscape even more beautiful: seemed to be there at that time. I would recommend this tour to everyone I will go to Matera.

  • The walk in the park with Tibetan bridge crossing the Ravine was really a wonderful experience. At times plodding and usable with hiking boots, eventually there stands on the Summit of mount Lee of Matera. Magnificent cave churches and caves for the shelter animals along the route. Not to be missed, count on half a day.

  • A nice park across a ravine from Matera. Great views of the town. trails lead to sassi as well. You can hike from town across a suspension bridge, but is is a difficult hike.
  • Beautiful city.
  • Impossible to go in Matera and not make this trail that will see a breathtaking view. I highly recommend you go with a guide, who will show you the Rock-Hewn Churches and guide you through the best trails. Go at sunset, indulged in Matera with the lights on is priceless!

  • Beautiful trail by Sassi di Matera at the Belvedere with breathtaking views. Recently opened Tibetan bridge for crossing the torrent Gravina. We recommend the use of trainers.

  • Simply gorgeous, speechless. To see absolutely. I would recommend getting a guide to fully enjoy all the hidden corners of this city and appreciate the historical evolution cheessa suffered. I recommend Mr. Antonio Parikh at the Agency Abbasi travel via Ridola.
