  • Even a couple of hours ago walking aimlessly to Matera the case gave us a precious gift: we opened the doors of this House and made with love and passion to know who's in charge! Simply thanks to the magic of this visit, the blast from the past and the rediscovery of a world that no longer exists, but it belongs to everybody and that, without the passion of people like that, would be lost forever. But thanks for the warmth and the pleasure of a chat that takes us back to those values so important that all too often we forget, because life is full of special moments and unique ... of passion, desire and volontà...il case then us zampino. To visit ...

  • Arriving at the entrance, on a gray November afternoon, just walked in and greeted by those who passionately reconstructed in a faithful and original context the real essence of Matera in the early twentieth century, we understand this man's love for his country--the Interior of the House cave, crafts, tools ... a tour just for the two of us, lasted more than an hour, but we could have rimaere them for a week to understand all the anecdotes hidden behind each object. Let yourself be carried away by the words of someone who has devoted his life and had first intuition to preserve and enhance the stunning decline of Matera culture of decades past ... 3 euros invested too well, to return whenever you visit this beautiful country. Best wishes from Sorrento! Camillo e Federica

  • We ended up in this museum almost by chance, Strolling among the stones. To greet us a kind man who with great passion showed us its treasures collected over years and years. It was like diving into the past, we've seen tools, utensils and objects never seen before. A priceless collection that chronicles the life and hard work of the past. I recommend everyone to visit, the ticket price is negligible compared to the great beauty that there is inside!

  • This museum is the result of 30 years of work of Mr.Carlos welcome you and answer all your questions about life in the sassi. The laboratory museum recreates the environments of those who once lived in the sassi with ' objects, furniture and pictures. It's a real blast from the past. I recommend it to all visitors. The Council also read the book of short stories translated into English Museum that collects testimonies of those who lived in the sassi.
