  • Just outside main part of Matera, this park is certainly worth a considered stop if you have a car. Like all art, it is somewhat quirky & may be loved or disliked equally. Could be great picnic spot f...  more »
  • This Sculpture Park is absolutely brilliant. Housed in a disused quarry collects the works of Antonio Paradise which bought the place and made it an art park. Within this space in addition to the permanent exhibition of the works of heaven include temporary exhibitions, usually to coincide with the summer offer the city a chance to admire great artists. The location lends itself well to a large number of activities.

  • A place of passage in Matera, the sculptures are original and make you smile. Maybe lacks a bit of care.

  • Careers in the area of Matera challenge us by unusual operating traces and the rock color variations depending on the time of day. The site is extraordinary. Rusty steel sculptures fit into this career and at the same time contrast with the clarity of the rock. Very nice site, not to be missed

  • Very special park in unique location, too bad it's not owned by anyone, however also deserves a half an hour for some particular photo, a few minutes away you will find the view of "belvedere"
