  • Perched on top of the city and surrounded by a beautiful park, when I was there it was closed; I was able to visit only the exterior, appreciating the majestic towers. The structure looks almost abandoned, left to itself ... the Administration should value it more.

  • Unfortunately, the owner of this castle had the misfortune of not being able to finish. What is remarkable, however, is admired by architectural merit. I think deserves more attention and appreciation by those responsible. From the stands you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city.

  • A beautiful castle with a large park, in the countryside, it is a fascinating place for history and enjoys a beautiful scenic spot

  • Castle itself is beautiful the dislike is all for the city of matera which has left the castle in the middle of an incomplete park with shameful facilities and degradation of the area
  • Not the no. 1 spot in Matera for sure. But worth if you have seen most of the highlights already.
  • The castle would be interesting if it were even possible to visit it. You might better manage also the panoramic view over the city of rocks.
