  • We already had a day by the Sassi. When we saw that we could watch a film about the Sassi. The film is very interesting because you have a idea what it actually looked like and what poor conditions people lived. After seeing the film you understand everything better.

  • Exciting and exhaustive narrative "itinerant" organised by FAI inside an ancient aristocratic residence in the Sasso Caveoso, donated by the families of Matera Faz and Lai to enhance the history of this place. With a ticket of 4 € (refunded if you become a member YOU DO) there are 3 short and evocative documentary, screened directly on the inner walls of the House Noha, tracing the history of Matera and its stones, from the Middle Ages up to the present day. I recommend it as a first step in Matera because visiting the Sassi, later, assumes a value altogether.

  • Excellent audiovisual experience to understand the historical, architectural and social point of view. Exciting. I think it should be the first thing to do in a visit, because you can frame it correctly all the rest.

  • A house in the sassi donated by a family of Matera to the Fai. The entry fee is 4 euros and shows a video of about 25 minutes which tells the story of Matera. It is really well done and advice to stay as first stop if you are planning to visit the city.

  • facility where you can learn the history of the sassi of Matera. Very interesting video projected on the walls that offers an overview of the events from antiquity to the present day in 20/25 minutes by tube well laid out and comprehensive

  • A movie is projected on the history of Matera. Touching sticks inside. I recommend before visiting the town to better understand the place

  • The video projected every half hour is ideal for intruding on sightseeing even if the documentary has an approach sometimes contradicts a story perhaps too recent to be judged with serenity.
