  • Although the archaeological area constituted only by the villa with thermal baths and the antiquarium where are guarded and protected the beautiful Roman mosaics, Massaciuccoli is a rare find. From the Church the view is remarkable. Don't miss a look at the elegant villa Minutoli inside dellacquale is a Roman tower post guarding the road that cisteggiava the Lake towards Pisa. Not to be missed.

  • They are the oldest buildings of the Roman baths, Spa and pools, partially preserved to our days. Quite interesting to see; Since this place opened up beautiful views of the Lake and the surrounding area, but the reason to the ruins of quite steep, so be careful!

  • It's a very interesting archaeological area, however the neglect is tangible, the sign near the parish is virtually unreadable, I tried several times to read it but unsuccessfully. Too bad that a place like this is left as well ...

  • Museum was closed :-( But you can see Roman ruins with mosaic as well through glass walls.
  • One of these places if they were abroad would be considered exceptional. In Italy we are too used to too many beautiful things that our ancestors and nature have left us. To visit the largest Pavilion ask the volunteer staff of the archaeological group Massarosese. Don't forget to visit the Villa of Venulei at the top near the Church, reachable in about 10 minutes by foot from the main hall feel. Free admission to welcome a small contribution.

  • The boys of GAM are outstanding and have transformed this archaeological area in a fun place to visit even several times. Activities for children and adults, costumed reenactments and much more awaits you. In the period from June to September as well as all of this ancient Roman themed edible evenings are organised where you retrace the steps of our forefathers culinary Romans. Highly recommended! Suitable for families and children of all ages
