  • No space for what it was: the trap is not open to the public and the buildings are all commercial spaces. In February everything is closed and becomes even more sadness, in August should be a frenzy of the crowd. There is no story and no attention to the tourist. Many buildings need maintenance. Not worth it to get here!

  • Marzamemi is an ancient fishing village characterized by the old traps that are all virtually on the sea: la piazzetta is something fantastic, scenic, full of quaint little restaurants and historic places that recall the ancient vocation of the place. It is very pleasant to visit walking the streets and breathe in the fragrance of the sea and ... of the kitchens. You will then have the opportunity to buy directly in the trap their typical products, recommended the tuna is superb

  • Visited one August afternoon, with the sun beating overhead, perhaps not the best time. But it is inevitable capture the beauty of the old part of the village, with low houses overlooking the piazzetta and where you can breathe the scent of old southern villages. For once, tourism has not made the foolish, although I feel that you can breathe peace only far from those of greater tourist influx. Anyway not to be missed

  • Turning the eastern Sicily often encountered in traps only ruins or structures often find crumbling. Considerable surprise in coming across an entire village and facilities enhanced. A substantial economic and artistic ecosystem. I will definitely be back for another visit. Only comment is that it could further enhance the site by creating some sort of historical information.

  • Very charming ... but it's an open air restaurant not a fishing village

  • A lovely place, I hope you are able to recover the rest of the trap that unfortunately is collapsing

  • A place that breathes history. Ancient stories of fishermen and adventures. If you happen to have a romantic walk at the ancient tonnara Marzamemi.
