  • Personally I found it a bit difficult to navigate, poorly reported. In fact, the area of the Park is large and accessible from many places, by car or on foot, also depending on the time available and the type of visit. Besides the possibility to hike though, it's impossible not to get carried away by the ruins of homes destroyed during the 1944 Nazi massacre. Impressive the cemetery of Casaglia, remained as such at the time of the massacre (in fact even a little neglected). Lest we forget that we are in Italy and it's only been a few decades: compulsory visit.

  • The younger generation should visit this place to see what atrocities is war, where there are neither losers nor winners but only death and misery. A warning to control the human savagery.

  • At least once a year I get from Marzabotto for a visit to the memory of one of the symbols of the massacres of the last war. I pause at the Church and then to the cemetery of Casaglia, always with a big lump in my throat. Read the plaque on the wall of the cemetery and put his finger on iron crosses with the signs of bullets. Here were killed hundreds of innocent women, old people and children pelted by hail of bullets and bombs of the German soldiers. But throughout the area remain signs of burnt houses with remains of roundups and the abandonment of crops. There's always an eerie silence which AIDS to meditation.

  • A very well made Park. It shows the gruesome grizzly grey harsh past but embedded in this lovely oak and acacia forest...the view, the walk, the butterflies, the screeching grasshoppers, the brilliant sun are soothing and covering the history, but also enhancing the emotion how unreal the harsh warring was to the mountain and how wrong to this lovely countryside
  • Bellissimo posto
  • You should also visit because it is part of the path of the gods, this name comes from the surrounding mountains called with names of deity: mount Adone, monte Venere Monzuno (mons Juno, Juno) etc. Done to entire door to Florence

  • Beautiful natural landscape. Poor political atmosphere, feels like after World War I. Council visit off the days with commemorations or socio-political activities

  • If you go on foot, you take a hike but you come up and you will see a beautiful landscape
