  • Stroll by Alberobello is something unforgettable, not only by their surroundings full of plantations of olive trees, walls of stone, etc. but also by them fabulous Trulli and its charming people. Alberobello, Bari inside village, represents, without a doubt, the capital of the Trulli: historic centre is entirely made up of these particularisimos and whitest buildings pyramidal shape which makes it a unique and famous place. The Trulli of today, however, date back to the middle of the 14th century and arose because of the custom of swoop and reconstruct buildings in poor condition, rather than repair them. If something striking are the mysterious symbols that Crown the frontal nose cone of their roofs. They are magical symbols, some of pagan origin, other Christians, since in the trulli meet families from different sources. The most common meaning of these symbols are the protection of the family front the evil eye, the worship of any deity, etc. Most of the symbols are gone, and with the passage of time have lost their meaning and initial value
