  • Il Bosco delle Pianelle is still unknown, but well worth a detour. Its paths, mountain bike hire, make it unique. As well as unique is, for example, if you think about some kind of calla lily that grows in that area or wild orchids. A forest with a good reception and picnic area. Ideal to visit on cloudy days in summer or when the Sun else gives no respite

  • Woods between Massafra and Martina Franca very excellent equipped area for children and adults who want to enjoy nature with bicycles. Many tables available for outdoor dining. Highly recommended

  • This is a woodland that covers about 600 acres, where there are trees, and rare plants. Among the animal species it is noteworthy the presence of daytime birds of prey (on all the buzzards, Kestrels and sparrowhawks) and night (out of all the OWL, tawny owl, Barn Owl, long-eared OWL and the hoopoe) and birds throughout the year (for example: quails, pheasants, Magpies, crows and Red peaks). In addition to birds you can see animals "from Earth" like squirrels, dormice, dormice, country mice, foxes, badgers, wild cats, Martens, wild boars, porcupines, hedgehogs, skunks and deer. A quiet and relaxing place in which to immerse yourself in nature and listen to its sounds. Beautiful. Will definitely be returning. TO VISIT ABSOLUTELY!

  • An oasis of green in the Woods. Lit but not too much, but some light off. Clean. Wooden tables available. Pity that there is no barbecue area

  • A beautiful grove in the heart of Puglia. A few kilometers from the beautiful Martina Franca, this place lends itself to beautiful family excursions in every period of the year. Easy trails and reported. Not to be missed especially in summer heat. Don't seem to be in Puglia

  • The forest is beautiful and well looked after but managing only a few tables, being a public place, it is outrageous. Tables were pretty much booked up "as if it were a restaurant." But staff could not accept and lock all tables and not blocked them all, although they were, caused misunderstandings and quarrels. My group came soon occupying a table presumably free, there was no price tag affixed on it to indicate the reservation. This caused quarrels between strangers. Simply absurd x a public place.
