Tour a 19th-century winery and learn about the family that started it at Florio. Browse a collection of antique farming equipment while you wait for your tour to start, or enjoy the pristine location by the sea. Once inside, tour the facility while your guide takes you through the history of the wine, as well as the tumultuous history of the Florio family. Explore the 165m (541ft) long cellars and hear more about the wine. The tour ends in a tasting room where you get to sample the wine and enjoy an overview of what to look for when tasting. • More than a cellar, a museum about the history of Italy. Apart from the beautiful ancient barrels, locals and especially the little Museum of weapons donated by Garibaldi to Vincenzo Florio, visiting with generous tasting fully applies 20 euros required. A dutiful mention should be made to the historical explanations-Valentina oenological, nice drive. Experience to do

  • Excellent guided visit, brief but not that brief explanation of the cantine's history. The only missing point in the explanation would be the detailed process of the marsala technique but if you ask the guide she'll be able to answer every question you have. After the visit, a degustatione of Marsala and some other wines with proper food combinations
  • Must visit if you are in the area. Get to see incredible cellars with gigantic barrels of vintage wine and liquor. And end the tour with wine tasting and inevitable shopping for more bottles
  • Loved this wine tour of Florio in Marsala. Great history attached to the Winery. The scent of the wine in the barrels was something else. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. And we had some wine tasting near the end. The shop attached to the winery has been designed beautifully. The town of Marsala is also quite beautiful. I wished I stayed longer in Marsala. So friendly.
  • A wonder for wine lover!
