  • I visited the town of Marostica and I could admire its walls. Have been integrally preserved/restored to where the city wall surrounds the whole mountain, outlined by 2 castles. This in Italy I had never seen and been admired. Recommend the visit at all.

  • In these days of early April the cherry trees are all in blossom, and Marostica (with its surroundings) is also famous for cherries (calluses). The walls surround a Hill until you reach the upper Castle which became white when the cherry trees were in bloom, creating a wonderful show. Today that is no longer there. It remains, however, a wonderful walk allowing you to see the perfectly preserved city walls.

  • It is undisputed that Madd is one of the most well preserved walled cities and anyway is surely the most spectacular since most walls stretch, forming a Pentagon on the edge of the Hill and are visible from below. Are joined by 23 of towers and unite the lower and upper Castle, with three gates: the Bassanese, Vicentina and Breganzina all with curtain walls in room. Are high between ten and twelve meters and thickness ranges from 2 to 3. Thanks to the nice summer day almost managed to walk around and enjoy a superb views If you enjoyed this review, I'm glad a click on: is it useful?
