  • That's a really nice place to visit. The entrance fee is €9 which I thought it was too much even though I liked the place. I spent a little over an hour and I stopped to eat and took a lot of pictures.
  • Fantastic palazzo with a very special garden. The owners are doing an amazing restoration and are very passionate and knowledgeable.
  • The Villa of Princess Elisa, niece of Napoliene who ruled Lucca for 8 years
  • After reading about this historic property and the description of the gardens we drove a considerable distance and gladly paid the €8 entrance fee ... only to be disappointed beyond measure! The property is in a total state of disrepair the gardens have been abandoned to neglect for a number of years and there was not one area that looked in good order, they had not even bothered to bring out the lemon trees for the lemon garden ... if they still existed. The property is in new ownership since end 2014 but the property should be closed until it can qualify again as a true tourist garden sight, anything else is just ripping off the public on very outdated information.
  • a Beautiful Italian Garden !
