  • In Tuscany is known, there are gems everywhere. The Park of Villa Reale in Marlia is one of these precious gems to visit. The Park is beautifully laid out in an hour with Brooks, ponds and numerous botanical entities to discover. Historical objects here and there like statues, nymphaeums and entire buildings. The interiors of the villa del vescovo not be visited at present for restoration but also the grounds and outbuildings, alone, are worth the visit.

  • Baroque garden of the 17th century of water, waterfalls, fountains, cool caves, statues +++ a garden full of charm and freshness, oasis of happiness by heat wave

  • The Park is located a few kilometers outside the city of Lucca. Those who stay there can take a bus that will leave them right at the entrance. For those visiting the area with their car, just put in GPS, Villa Reale di Marlia. The Villa and the garden/park (which once belonged to the Napoleonta's sister, Eliza), recently acquired new owners who decided to turn it into a tourist attraction. Already renovated most of the exteriors, while in progress renovation of interiors which at the moment is not now. The ticket costs 9 euro and believe me, it's worth the trouble. The proposed route starts from the least impressive part of the garden, especially now during the summer that the plants are not blooming. From the Lake, and then things start to become very interesting. Especially after the pool does not know what to prwtothaymaseis. The cave of pan with incredible indoor décor, fountains, statues, the spectacle with the running waters, everything is more than impressive. And because I know that in Greek these things like them too, I recommend you to go. I have to say that visiting a typical Tuscan villa where the fairy tale meets reality ...

  • That's a really nice place to visit. The entrance fee is €9 which I thought it was too much even though I liked the place. I spent a little over an hour and I stopped to eat and took a lot of pictures.
  • Fantastic palazzo with a very special garden. The owners are doing an amazing restoration and are very passionate and knowledgeable.
  • The Villa of Princess Elisa, niece of Napoliene who ruled Lucca for 8 years
  • After reading about this historic property and the description of the gardens we drove a considerable distance and gladly paid the €8 entrance fee ... only to be disappointed beyond measure! The property is in a total state of disrepair the gardens have been abandoned to neglect for a number of years and there was not one area that looked in good order, they had not even bothered to bring out the lemon trees for the lemon garden ... if they still existed. The property is in new ownership since end 2014 but the property should be closed until it can qualify again as a true tourist garden sight, anything else is just ripping off the public on very outdated information.
