Un porto di pescatori oggi località turistica. Un bel lungomare, negozietti, ristoranti, bar e gelaterie. Gente cordiale. Una spiaggia in centro. more »A fishing port now tourist resort. A nice Boardwalk, shops, restaurants, bars and pubs. Friendly people. A beach in the Centre.

Its port and the promenade give the country that air of a privileged place that does not fear competition from internationally renowned seaside resorts. If you have a boat you can swim in fantastic coves just minutes away from the village but, if you don't own a boat or simply do not want to move, you can pass a sunny day at one of the beaches that are located right in the village. In fact, the beaches are different. The most popular is that of North Cape, equipped with umbrellas, showers, restaurant, so nothing is missing. Not overlooking the harbor and that's the big advantage, however you must equip with plastic liners because there isn't sand but gravel more or less large. There are other two beaches, one near the main Pier and a right on the beachfront with sand. Don't even miss even a little Beach for dogs naturally crowded. Obviously not the beaches but the taste to stay immersed in an atmosphere "privileged" even when bathing is priceless. Unfortunately all this magical atmosphere, walk, Yacth you waddle at anchor and of course beaches in the country, it may have its days numbered because the Administration decided to build a breakwater at least 3-5 meters right at the entrance of the harbour skyline and upsetting the drawing within a new mega port, of which no one feels the need, if not the company that wins the contract to be signed to thirty years. But even Marciana Marina is located in Italy and in all this we are used to. Hoping that common sense and the protests of everyone from local to those that in summer can be used to enjoy the beauties of this enchanting corner of the Mediterranean, from tying up the crazy project, I invite you to spend a few days, as I do from years in Marciana Marina. Seeing is believing.
Nice beach but very crowded off season must be spectacular. Convenient snack shops and parking nearby. more »
Niccolò SimonciniOnly beach with sand in Marciana Marina, sea not always clear being within the port area. Alternative if you don't like pebbles or the rocks. Great location in half the country.
Francesco LilliThe beach shown on the map is on the waterfront with no swimming! Other beautiful beaches to the East and West of the Harbour, but this just don't!
Elena MaggiPhoenicia ... If you exceed the "scoglio" of stones and are fitted with booties--are a wonderful sea, transparent
Gabriele BocciarelliAlternation of beach and gravel. Not so great near the port
Pi KeyVery nice, but the beach just unwrapped
