  • My husband and I, during a trip in Singapore, we had the pleasure of joining snooping this shop attracted by the sign exposed indicating the activity as dating back to 1888. Guys, it was really a wonderful meeting with the two owners, elderly Yes but a lucidity and infinite sweetness. We had a long talk and Mr. Brando we mentioned places of Lombardy who knew as there had been in the past. He said: "tell me the name of town or nearby countries where you live". Every time we uttered a name he knew telling us something typical of the area. His wife, however, told of days gone by and it was a hoot to listen to them. When we say goodbye Mr. Brando, with great gallantry, he bowed, made me a hand kissing (without touching the hand with his mouth but closer almost to his forehead) telling me "my respects." Great couple, great people!

  • I'm sorry I read bad reviews of this activity. The owner was extremely nice and very welcoming although wasn't sure of my purchase (which I made). The peculiarity of this store is just having safeguarded, as well as the quality of the fabrics and the elegant patterns, appearance reminiscent of the Nice shops of fabrics from when I was a little girl in a Turin still elegant and free of "workshops" of low quality. Thank you Mr. Brando to preserve the tradition of beautiful things. Also Kudos to the inhabitants of Maratea who welcome tourists in a town maintained and spotless.

  • It is true, are ancient things sold by ancient people but for those who love the southern soul in people and subjects, go from brando is a unique experience. Peppino and his sister are full of energy and love their jobs, should some go into their "mood" but in a globalized world are a rare island. Needless to say, over the years I've spent here means assets but there is industrial sponge that takes into ... try it!
