  • Nice.
  • Giulio Romano left Mantua stunning works that have changed. The Fishmongers of Giulio Romano (or lodge of Giulio Romano), is a historic building in Mantua. Built in 1536 the architect of the palazzo Te, were dedicated to the trade of fish. The building consisted of two round arched arcades in the typical giuliesco Ashlar, with attic above where they open rectangular Windows framed by pilasters. The fishmongers were placed on the sides of the medieval bridge that crossed the River, a waterway that flows through the city of Mantova from Lake Superior to lake bottom.
