  • This is an unmissable monument of the beautiful city of Mantua, which bears witness to the greatness of a past that has been able to resist the time and the ravages of the landsknechts. Much is lost, but there is still so much to see and admire. A sufficiently thorough tour requires at least a couple of hours, so many are the rooms and objects that enrich it. Too bad the lighting conditions are less than optimal and illustrative descriptions are often poorly readable in certain cases. Interesting the interactive film that traces the history of the ducal family and transformations of the Palace. The cost of admission is not low, but the high interest of the monument justifies the visit

  • In September we had the opportunity to visit it at night and I must say it was a truly magical experience. All its beauties were amplified by the contrast with the dark and the light of the moon. Anyway, it is great even in the daytime!

  • Visit booked from home on vivaticket, Council as it is already booked method, in particular for the bridal chamber, and you skip the queue. Possibility to take the audioguide costs 5 euros, which I personally recommend, otherwise you can read the panels in the various rooms. Some of the rooms were closed to the public at the time of my visit, which left me unpleasantly surprised. The bridal chamber leaves a little to be desired if you don't listen or read, things that allow you to understand and empathize in the era. Overall I recommend visiting.
