  • Eighteenth-century architecture, with beautiful and lively Grand façade and beautiful high Dome, visible from the rear via Poma. Bright unique plan, overlooked by various chapels. Interesting the Gothic arch of access to the ancient cloister of the convent, now non-existent.

  • Located on the pretty little piazzetta Babu, the Church of St Barnabas was named after the first bishop of Milan; It is still a place of Catholic worship. The Church overlooks the small square Bazzani, located at the intersection of via Giovanni Chiassi and via Carlo Poma. The current building was built between 1716 and 1736 and was designed by Moscatelli Battaglia, built out of an old convent of which survives only in part the cloister, which is sometimes used as a venue for events. The Church has a nave and admire elegant stucco and Baroque furnishings. I recommend you see it even from the side, along via Poma to be impressed by the depth of the same.
