  • Small museum located inside the Bourbon Palace "Casino dei Duchi Carafa della Stadera" and on two floors, all well kept. In addition to the numerous finds from Calatia, offers interesting multimedeiali stations. The high score is due to the fact that free entry makes it worthy to be visited without a doubt!

  • This small but precious reality must be appreciated as it deserves. The Italy is the land of museums, but very few are made available to all for free. This is but is only the first of its quality: the second is the location, really valuable, while not lacking for surveying archeological Kit shown, no doubt interesting. We visited the Museum Sunday, November 18, 2016, enjoying during the visit quiet villa Carafa and courtesy of the guardian, adding value to that of interesting exhibits present, among whom were placed with admirable sensitivity and rare intelligence the "collection" created by the children of the local elementary schools. Truly a place to visit.

  • Was a case have discovered this little gem in the province of Caserta. The Museum was housed in the Casino of the Dukes Carafa, a 16th-century palace, beautiful, elegant, beautifully restored. Nice main floor with the Ducal apartments with frescoes, gold wallpaper, wooden beams with ancient wrapped in paper, the private chapel is a gem. Very interesting archaeological site, lots of multimedia, video and panels that explain everything, poadcast, explanations in braille. Didactically a museum like few others. No surprise the room dedicated to the famous Appia: the entire journey of Appia flows over long walls, walking the cobblestones underfoot, lights, background music and noise of chariots, birds, people walking. Very sensual. Beautiful objects, courteous and circumspect. A young archeologist made as a guide. Highly recommended. We'll definitely also my kids
