  • I love this library in the city center of Macerata. It's just a perfect place to go to study or borrow some books or also read some magazines.  more »
  • We had read of the possibility to visit the city's library on the internet and lured by the description we wanted to see for yourself. During the visit we were accompanied by a girl of Matelica who provided us with many interesting details about the library and the volumes preserved here. The visit involved everyone young and old. Very beautiful and architecturally beautiful library volumes are preserved. A blast from the past.

  • If you are interested in culture in General, don't miss the public library, founded in 1773 in the premises of Borgetti Hubs suppressed premises of the College of the society of Jesus. The library goes almost unnoticed next to the Church of San Giovanni. If you ask the librarian responsible for visiting the old part and the Hall of mirrors, he will be glad to take you between the beautiful volumes held in the Jesuit library shelves and the many funds that emerged in the more than two hundred years of activity of the library. This little gem is one of the largest libraries of Marche and includes about 350,000 volumes. In addition to the 10,000 manuscripts, incunabula and over 4000 owns 300 editions of the sixteenth century.
