  • I organized a one-day visit and I decided to visit this place, which fortunately became protected heritage. Think that these olives have 4000 years makes us very little. The walk under their fronds thinking that the roots are under our decking is definitely exciting. Wanting to alongside the structure you can also take a picnic. The ticket price is very fair and the visit to the most interesting part is Wizard, after you can walk around freely.

  • We took advantage of a nice morning for a tour with our dogs and from Olbia, we drove up to the dam of smooth. Shortly before, on the left, you will find a dirt road uphill; 150 meters and you are in a place surrounded by greenery in the presence of these giant trees. For a while you forget time, relax, reflect, you can breathe fresh air and take a few pictures, to impressive olive or nice panorama view of the Lake. A different morning far from the chaos of the city. At the entrance there is a hut where paying a little tiket (2.5 € per person), with a guide that summarizes the history of olive trees and where they prepare coffee. Next to the entrance, a church and a picnic area. Recommend that you leave your car on the main road and walk the short distance walk because the path is very disjointed.

  • The Olivastri Millenari are very impressive. The youngest is well over 1000 years old, the Middle brings it to 2500 and the oldest to a staggering 4000-4500 years with a circumference of 12 m. In addition to these ancient, bizarre trees you will feel yourself very small. A nice experience.
