  • I recommend everyone to immerse themselves in the stories of our history and culture. A journey through objects of various kinds told beautifully by a passionate gentleman who nn can be called simply guide. To visit

  • We visited the museum with our little girl and the young and brilliant Gabriele wisely illustrated the countless objects that are found within this journey through time, a capable intelligent and prepared guide, enthusiastic to welcome us and accompany us through ancient stories telling us interesting anecdotes capable of transmitting the love for his land! Congratulations!!! Recommended for a trip inland!

  • Another stop to discover the surprises of the villages in land: this time in Luras, in search of "sa femina agabbadora". Late afternoon, museum closed with a sign inviting you to call a mobile phone number: "parks as well, that in a few minutes a guide will be at his complete disposal..." the diligent and polite response. You expect a lugubrious affair and instead you find yourself living a different experience, exciting and distinctly original since you present yourself as a guide a young 17-year-old with aunts in tow... and the visit immediately takes on a pleasant private and friendly dimension, almost familiar! A well-to-do stone palace houses this private collection: a fascinating and almost endless collection of traditional objects, furnishings, furnishings and tools; each room is a mirror to the past, divided by environments. Dragged by Gianni's enthusiasm and explanations, it almost seems to relive the ancient gestures of cooking, embroidery or artisanal and peasant workmanlikework, while the eye ranges between countless curiosities. The dialectic skills and the lexicon of our young and polite guide are surprising: he passes with familiarity from anecdotes to the etymology of the Sardinian language revealing skills, knowledge and passion commendable for a boy of his age... Chapeau! This is how you arrive in the bedroom, in front of the agabbadora femina and her infamous hammer, which shows all the suggestion and practicality of Sardinian culture... real point of contact between human transience and identity immortality. The rest you find out for yourself... a visit here is just a must!

  • Not good for push/wheel chairs
  • A great experience to enjoy, for understanding Sardinian culture but also human mind. Strongly recommended!!
  • An almost unknown jewel. It tells The local life and traditions until the first half of the twentieth century. It is structured on a three-storey building and in each one is reproduced a craft, viticulture and vinification, agricultural activities, bakery and the famous room of the female "Accabadora" who administered euthanasia to terminally ill patients. You will be led by Gabriele very good and professional and by the owner who made a passion a cultural heritage for all.

  • Museum carefully cared for in the case of objects and in the surrender of the traditional house. Excellent and detailed explanation. Exceptional opening system : if you arrive without booking, you call the number that appears on the door and within ten minutes you are reached by the guide. The only side to improve is the location of the 'Museum' sign, which is barely visible if you do not know the exact location

  • Great visit, to recommend! After the disappointment of finding the legendary Ethnographic Museum Sanna closed in August in a deserted Sassari, the ethnographic museum of Luras was a cure-all! Good wine is in small barrels.
