  • A dip in the heroic story of Italian aviation including Francesco Baracca is one of the greatest ACEs! Very interesting Museum and well organized after a recent refurbishment. The outside where you have a Fiat g. 91Y has yet to be restored and made accessible. The Flight Simulator on the top floor is the joy of the youngest. Congratulations.

  • The museum dedicated to Francesco Baracca, shows the life of an airman became a national hero of World War I. In his plane, there were two symbols two horses and one of them, was donated by Countess Paolina, mother of Francis, Shack to Enzo Ferrari. Il Cavallino of Francesco Baracca, lives every Ferrari in the world.

  • Francesco Baracca was the heroic captain of the Italian air force during the first world war. He was born in Lugo in 1888 and died June 19, 1918, shot down by snipers in Austria. He came from a noble family, as a 19-year-old, he joined the military school of Modena, after five years, went to flight school in Reims in France and after a few months was the pilot. Was his heroism. During World War I he took part in many successful campaigns, he shot down 34 enemy aircraft. As the sky won the recognition of the King of Italy Victor Emmanuel III, King of the Belgians Albert I, who excelled in it high awards for the great merit of war. As a brilliant master pilot he also as a wonderful coach. His private emblem was a black horse, standing up on two hind legs, which later was used by Enzo Ferrari as a brand its cars. The first museum dedicated to the prominent son of this land was created in 1926 at the entrance to the Castle Este, as the Town Hall. In 1993, the exposure was moved to the family's Art Nouveau building, where three floors you can watch numerous souvenirs, documents, uniforms, furniture, documents, portraits, posters related to the life and death of the hero. The place really noteworthy. Bibliography
