  • Inside the ancient Palazzo Pretorio di Lucignano, today Town Hall, the Municipal Museum was set up: very interesting is the stationery Room, which in the lunettes of the vault frescoes, attributed to Sienese painters of the 15th century. The Museum was founded in 1924 and reopened in 1984: contains paintings of great importance, among which stand out the plates of Lippo Vanni, Bartolo di Fredi and Luca Signorelli, the crucifixion of Sienese painter unknown scope of the 13th century. M the most important work of the Museum is undoubtedly the great reliquary in silver, gilt copper, coral and enamel, said "Whitney", built between 1350 and 1476 by goldsmiths Arezzo and Siena, one of the greatest masterpieces of the Italian Goldsmith
